PSYCHOTHERAPY FOR ADULTS & PARTNERS IN TEXAS
Understand the pattern. Heal what hurts. Create something different.
Thoughtful, sex-positive therapy for the parts of life and relationships people are often expected to navigate quietly.
Relationship Therapy
You may be caught in the same argument, avoiding the conversations that matter, recovering from betrayal, questioning whether to stay, or longing to feel emotionally and erotically connected again. I work with individuals, couples, and diverse partnerships to slow the cycle down, understand what each person is protecting, and create more honest, responsive ways of relating.
Common Reasons people reach out
Communication that quickly becomes criticism, defensiveness, shutdown, or pursuit
Mismatched desire or different meanings attached to sex
Betrayal, trust rupture, or relationship repair
Premarital counseling, arranged marriage, or discernment counseling
Separation, decoupling, or redefining a relationship
Consensual non-monogamy and relationship agreements
Sex Therapy & Sexual Health
Sexual concerns are rarely “just physical” or “just psychological.” They can be shaped by stress, relationships, health, hormones, culture, identity, medication, trauma, and the pressure to perform. We make room for the whole picture…without shame and without reducing sex to intercourse.
Low or changing desire and arousal
Erectile changes and performance anxiety
Pain with sex, avoidance, or fear
Orgasm concerns, shame, guilt, or difficulty receiving pleasure
Sex after illness, cancer, surgery, or medical treatment
Aging, menopause, perimenopause, and changing bodies
Trauma therapy that respects your nervous system
Trauma may show up as a memory, but it can also appear as tension, disconnection, vigilance, numbness, shame, or a reaction that feels bigger than the moment.
Therapy is paced collaboratively. I draw from EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, somatic approaches, attachment work, mindfulness, and parts-informed care.
Trauma therapy is offered online only. We will discuss appropriateness, privacy, safety, and pacing during consultation.
Infertility, hormones, illness, and life transitions
IVF, pregnancy loss, menopause, chronic illness, cancer treatment, caregiving, aging, and other transitions can reshape identity, body trust, desire, and partnership.
You deserve support that understands both the emotional and relational impact.
Your identity does not need to be explained away
My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, kink affirming, and welcoming of consensually non-monogamous relationships, asexual and aromantic clients, and all partner configurations.
The goal is not to push you toward a prescribed version of intimacy. It is to help you understand and create what is authentic, consensual, and meaningful for you.
What therapy is like with me
Warm, direct, and collaborative. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy, somatic and attachment-based work, narrative therapy, CBT, mindfulness, ACT-informed language, and parts work. We will talk…and we will also notice what happens in the body, between partners, and in the room.
Online therapy across Texas: Therapy can only be provided when you are physically located in Texas at the time of service.
