Your experiences shape how you move through the world.

Your patterns did not appear out of nowhere. Neither did your longing for something more. My work is to help you understand both with honesty, compassion, and room for the full complexity of being human.

GET TO KNOW ME

Therapy that can hold the real conversation.

I specialize in the places where relationships, sexuality, identity, the body, and life experience meet.

Clients often come to me with concerns they have struggled to name, or have never felt fully understood elsewhere. I offer a space that is warm, direct, sex-positive, culturally aware, and without assumptions or judgment. We can speak plainly about desire, pleasure, disconnection, trauma, betrayal, fertility, hormones, performance, shame, aging, relationship structures, and changing bodies.

I do not believe that healing requires you to become a more acceptable version of yourself. I believe it requires enough safety and honesty to understand what you protect, what you need, and what you want to create.

Clinical expertise grounded in human connection.

THE TECHNICAL STUFF

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in sexual health and relationships.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling. My training includes sexual health, holistic health, and three evidence-based psychotherapy approaches:

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

  • Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

I served on the Board of Directors of the Houston Association for Marriage and Family Therapy as Director of Ethics and Diversity from 2018 to 2021.

What Clients Can Expect

I am active in the room. I listen closely, reflect patterns, ask direct questions, and help make the invisible visible. I will not reduce complex relationship or sexual concerns to generic communication tips. We will look at the emotion, meaning, body, history, and relational cycle underneath them.

UNITED FOR HUMAN DIGNITY

Supporting survivors beyond the therapy room.

In addition to my therapy and coaching practice, I’m the founder of United For Human Dignity, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting survivors of sex trafficking.

I created the organization to help survivors access counseling, peer support, financial literacy, education scholarships, and other resources that support healing and greater independence.

SEXUAL HEALTH ADVOCACY

Accurate information is part of lifelong wellbeing.

I’m a passionate advocate for comprehensive and inclusive sexual health education. Sexual health encompasses the physical, mental, emotional, and relational aspects of sexuality throughout the lifespan.

  • Understanding and accepting your body

  • Developing healthy and respectful relationships

  • Practicing consent and sexual safety

  • Preventing and managing sexually transmitted infections

  • Addressing reproductive and sexual health concerns

  • Cultivating an affirming relationship with sexuality

My broader mission is to see consistent, developmentally appropriate, medically accurate sexual health education implemented in K–12 schools across the country, giving young people knowledge that can help them remain healthy, informed, and safe.

THE PERSONAL STUFF

A little more about the human behind the credentials.

I’m a mom to a couple of humans and a few too many cats. Becoming a mother was a difficult journey, and being a mom remains one of the most meaningful parts of my life.

I have a sweet spot for babies

I can cook, and enjoy it most days…although my sense of time tends to be a bit optimistic, so things often take longer than expected.

I’m bilingual

I’m a knowledge junkie and love learning.

I might have an unhealthy relationship with dark chocolate…I’m still assessing.

I’ve thought of doing a Ted Talk but I struggle with stage fright…so it remains a dream…for now…or maybe forever…we’ll see.

I’m a pescatarian…seafood is my love language.

I’m passionate about sexual health and can talk about it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, over coffee and dessert…all day…to ANYONE.

I love to pretend I’m creative and start home projects that take me forever to finish…seriously…forever…sometimes never.

I curse…with sophistication.

And…I’m a work in progress just like everyone else on this planet.

So…that’s me!

I’d love to connect and see if I can support you.

Let’s talk before you decide.

A consultation gives us space to discuss what brings you here, how I work, and whether the connection feels right.
