SUPPORT DURING A LIFE TRANSITION
A relationship can end without becoming a war.
Divorce and decoupling support offers space to navigate the emotional, relational, and practical transition from partnership to separation with as much clarity, dignity, and care as the circumstances allow.
Ending well is its own kind of relationship work.
The decision to separate does not erase the life you built, the attachment you shared, or the feelings that remain. Relief can coexist with grief. Certainty can sit beside doubt. You may know the relationship needs to end and still feel overwhelmed by what that ending means.
The goal is not to convince you to stay together or to rush you toward separation. It is to help you move through the transition with greater steadiness, honesty, and intention.
For individuals and separating partners
You may come individually to process the end of a relationship and prepare for what comes next. Separating partners may also work together when both want help communicating more constructively, creating emotional closure, or building a healthier co-parenting relationship.
Working together does not require agreement about every part of the relationship or its ending. It does require enough willingness to participate respectfully and to keep the work focused on the transition rather than punishment or persuasion.
When children are part of the transition
Separation changes the family, but it does not end the family. We can focus on how to speak with children in developmentally appropriate ways, reduce their exposure to adult conflict, create more consistent expectations across homes, and build a co-parenting relationship that does not ask children to carry messages, secrets, or divided loyalties.
Divorce support and discernment counseling are different.
Discernment counseling is for relationships in which the decision about staying or leaving has not been made. Divorce and decoupling support is for people who are separating, have decided to end the relationship, or need help moving through the transition that follows.
This service does not provide legal advice, mediation, custody evaluations, or recommendations to the court. Legal and financial decisions should be addressed with the appropriate professionals.
A DIFFERENT ENDING IS POSSIBLE
You do not have to navigate every part of this alone.
Your 45-minute video consultation gives us space to discuss where you are in the process and what kind of support would be most useful.
